Beyond the main encampment huts, Valley Forge contains several notable structures and statues. You will find these landmarks spread along the 10-mile driving loop.
Admission to the park and all historical monuments is entirely free. They are open year-round from 7:00 AM until dark (30 minutes after sunset).

This Gothic Revival chapel features beautiful stained glass windows and houses the historic Justice Bell. It is technically an active private church and not National Park Service property. Visitors are highly welcome to enter and explore. Plan to spend up to 30 minutes looking at the architecture.
15 minutesReplica cannons
This display features replica cannons arranged exactly where General Henry Knox organized the army's artillery. Stop here to understand how the defensive lines were prepared for battle. It offers a quick, visual lesson on military strategy. You only need about 15 minutes at this location.
10 minutesEquestrian statue
This prominent equestrian statue depicts General Anthony Wayne. The monument is specifically positioned so Wayne faces toward his nearby home. Look closely at the detailed craftsmanship of the horse and rider. It is considered one of the finest equestrian statues in the United States.
